S-TOKYO is a place where diverse players from all over Japan and around the world are loosely connected. With the motto "Spice Things Up!", it has become a unique and inclusive space where many encounters have been born over the past year.

Digital nomads who travel lightly while making their mark. People who convey the charm of local areas through business. The individuality of each member involved in the community is the "spice" of S-TOKYO.

I hope this place will continue to be a place where people who gather here can feel excited about the encounters they have yet to experience.

S-TOKYO will celebrate its first anniversary in November 2024.

One year ago, artist K:soul:y aka YAN created a live painting of S-TOKYO's landmark, and now various artists from different regions and genres will be collaborating with him. Imagine the places that are the roots of the artists' work and music, and discover your next travel destination. We hope this will be a special "encounter" for everyone who visits.

S-TOKYO 1st Anniversary Event “encounter”

Contents: Artwork exhibition, live painting, snack event exploring the artist's roots, music performance with live painting artwork as a backdrop.

Works by artists with roots in various parts of Japan will be exhibited in the S-TOKYO 2nd floor gallery.

This special exhibition will bring together works by artists active in various parts of Japan, including Akita, Aomori, Fukui, Saga, and Kumamoto.

Please do experience their diverse expressions and beautiful world.

Also during the same period, artist K:soul:y aka YAN will be holding a live painting (public creation) event at the gallery. A huge 3-meter wide canvas will be brought in, and the creation will begin on Monday, November 11th. On Saturday, November 16th, a music event is planned with the completed artwork as the backdrop.

S-TOKYO is a gateway connecting the world and Tokyo, and Tokyo and the provinces. This exhibition allows you to connect with the fascinating local areas of Japan through art. Please feel free to stop by.

【What is Snack GLOCAL?】 Glocal = Thinking on a global scale, but acting locally 🌍

At "Snack GLOCAL," we invite local players from all over Japan and around the world to become snack bar owners! It's an event where you can spend an exciting yet homey time in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped into a deep, local bar.

This time, artists will be acting as one-day managers of snack bars, casually interacting with guests while serving local snacks. Drinks will also be available on a cash-on-delivery basis.
