—Please introduce yourself.

I'm from Uppsala, Sweden. I work for a Swedish company, mainly doing web development. The company itself is small, and while web development is our main focus, we also do a variety of other work. Most of our clients are in Sweden, but we occasionally have overseas clients as well. I live in Sweden, but since my company allows for flexible remote work, I work from Japan.

—Why did you choose the S-TOKYO coworking space? What do you think of it so far?

I chose S-TOKYO after finding it on Google. The photos looked really good, so I decided to give it a try, and it was great. I love the atmosphere, and the community is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and I enjoy the events. The Wednesday free beer pub and the digital nomad meetup were especially great. It's fun talking to other remote workers here because we have so much in common. I'm really glad I chose this place.

How have you been enjoying your stay in Japan?

This is my third time in Japan, and I'm staying for about 50 days. I'll be in Tokyo for about a month, and I'm really enjoying walking around the city and exploring different places. I also went to Kanazawa, and the beautiful gardens and the sea there made a particularly strong impression on me.

—Do you have any places you would recommend to other digital nomads?

It's definitely here (S-TOKYO)! Lol

Also, if you ever travel to Japan, I recommend trying the hot springs in Ito. I was able to relax so much by soaking in the hot springs this time. Osaka and Tokyo are both great places. There's so much to do. In Tokyo, there are so many places to eat, and everything is delicious wherever you go, so I'm always trying new restaurants. It's hard to choose my favorite. Oh, but the soba restaurant "sobasay" near S-TOKYO was delicious! The owner was really nice too.

I was surprised that you really liked Japanese food and even knew about less common Japanese dishes. Japanese culture as seen through your eyes is fascinating. For example, the little utensil for the egg that comes with gyudon!

Thank you so much for telling me so much about Sweden. I would love to visit someday; the cityscapes are beautiful (it's too cold in winter, so maybe in the summer...).
