Hello. This is Yuka from LINNAS Kanazawa. This time, I'd like to give you an event report on "S-TOKYO Kanazawa Week," which was held over four days from July 25th to 28th! Kanazawa Week returned to Tokyo after about a year. I think this event, too, made us strongly feel the potential of community. Let's take a look back at what it was like!

Solo Exhibition "Drawing Characters" by Calligrapher Yuji Doy

This exhibition was held under the title "Drawing Letters."

There were many title options, but this was the one that personally appealed to me. As I researched the thoughts behind Mr. Doi's work and the stories behind its creation, I naturally decided that the title should have a good balance of kanji and hiragana.

The exhibition featured works that were accessible even to those unfamiliar with art, as well as pieces that made viewers ponder what they depicted and works that conveyed the hidden power of letters.

Each piece is captivating, and they are not just works to be appreciated as text; they are pieces that make you want to decipher the meaning and emotions embedded within them.

An exhibition that left me breathless, saying, "This is what it means to be able to look at something forever," was held.

Social Bar by LINNAS Kanazawa

Aki from Linnas Design Co., Ltd. and Ayakyo from Senbunnoichi Co., Ltd., an architectural design firm located in S-Tokyo and originally from Kanazawa, hosted a bar event as one-day managers.

Ayakyo-san is a huge fan of whiskey.

The people who gather there are all heavy drinkers, preferring highballs to beer.

I was reminded once again that the highballs Ayakyo makes are truly appealing and a reason for people to come.

Thanks to Aki and Ayakyo's collaboration, more people than expected came to meet them on the day.

I hope that this was a fruitful time for all the participants, allowing them to discuss their future and seek advice about their work!

Kanazawa Outsiders Association

"Yosomon" is a word in the Kanazawa dialect that means "outsider."

We held a casual get-together for people who love Kanazawa, regardless of where they were born or raised.

The star of this event is undoubtedly sake!

More than six types of Kanazawa's local sake, which are rarely available in Tokyo, were offered for all participants to enjoy as much as they wanted.

All the snacks prepared for the day were also delivered directly from Kanazawa.

This food and drink combination is irresistible for anyone who loves Kanazawa.

At one point, so many people had gathered that there weren't enough chairs, and everyone seemed to be enjoying socializing.

This time, we looked back on "S-TOKYO Kanazawa Week."

We were really looking forward to being able to hold a LINNAS event in Tokyo for the first time in a year.

Were we able to convey the essence of LINNAS from Kanazawa?

We believe in the power of community. We hope that the connections made during Kanazawa Week will continue into the future.
