[Digital Nomad Meetup]

S-TOKYO is a "Community for Digital Nomads & Entrepreneurs," creating a comfortable space where traveling digital nomads can meet and connect. One of the initiatives to achieve this is this event , the Digital Nomad Meetup ! This event is held about twice a month with the support of JDNA (Japan Digital Nomad Association) .

This is a casual networking event where many digital nomads gather. It's recommended for those who want to enjoy life in Japan more, those looking for their next destination, and those who want to connect with people on a global scale. We also highly recommend a style of participation where you use S-TOKYO's coworking space for a day and enjoy the Meetup in the evening!

The participants are always from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of nationalities and ages. The official language is basically English... but last time, an Israeli, a Briton, and an American were speaking Chinese (amazing! lol). The fact that these kinds of encounters transcending national and linguistic borders are created is one of the charms of this event.

Most attendees come alone, but everyone is so charming and friendly that they quickly become comfortable with each other and enjoy interacting with other guests.

According to the guests, participating in the Digital Nomad Meetup has allowed them to make friends who share their Tokyo life, and new encounters have led to work and hobby-related activities.

Normally, Digital Nomad Meetups are announced on Meetup, but recently they've become such popular events that they consistently exceed their 25-person capacity and have a waiting list! We'll continue holding them in the future, so don't miss the announcements!
