Hello! This is CHICHI from S-TOKYO.
Just the other day, a nomadic guest who used our coworking space for two weeks got a new tattoo! It was a gecko tattoo. Geckos are considered auspicious , as the Japanese word for gecko, "yamori," can be written with the characters for "house guardian," and they are believed to be guardians of the home and bring good fortune . He heard about this in Japan and got a gecko tattoo as a memento of his trip before leaving Japan. It was so cool!
I hope a gecko born in Japan will protect him as he travels the world :)

Every last Wednesday of the month, S-TOKYO community curator Chichi opens a snack bar. The goal is to create a space where guests can relax and chat, setting aside their roles and responsibilities. Please feel free to use it as a haven for adults!
【KANAZAWA week】
From September 20th (Fri) to 27th (Fri), 2024, we will be holding "KANAZAWA week," an event connecting digital nomads with Kanazawa!
"KANAZAWA Week" aims to connect digital nomads from all over Japan and the world who are interested in Kanazawa, the base of Linnas Design, and to provide opportunities for them to engage with the local community in diverse ways in the future. There will be a variety of content during the week, so please feel free to join us!
① [9/20] "Snack GLOCAL" x Kanazawa (Essayist Massi)
At "Snack GLOCAL," we invite local players from all over Japan and around the world to enjoy talk and interaction! In the "Glocal Talk Session," we welcome Italian writer and essayist Massimiliano Sugai as a guest speaker with ties to Kanazawa, who will talk about life and the charm of Kanazawa 🎙✨
We'll also have light meals and snacks typical of Kanazawa available. Drinks are available on a cash-on-delivery basis. Even if you're not from Kanazawa, if you "love Kanazawa!", "want to visit Kanazawa!", or "are interested in living in Kanazawa," please feel free to join us!

We will be holding an exhibition by artist Yoshinori Omori, who hails from Ishikawa Prefecture. Artist Omori will be present at the gallery on the 21st and 22nd.
