Hello! This is CHICHI from S-TOKYO.
Just recently, a digital nomadic guest who used our coworking space for two weeks got a new tattoo! It's a gecko tattoo. In Japanese, "gecko" is written as "家守" (yamori), which literally means "protector of the house" and is considered a lucky charm that brings good fortune. After hearing this story in Japan, he decided to get a gecko tattoo as a memento before leaving Japan. It was really cool!
May this Japanese-born gecko protect him as he travels around the world :)

Snack Tomarigi

On the last Wednesday of each month, S-TOKYO’s Community Curator, Chichi, will open a snack bar. We hope to create a space where guests can take a break and have casual conversations, putting aside roles and responsibilities. Feel free to use it as a place for adult relaxation!
KANAZAWA Week
From Friday, September 20th to Friday, September 27th, 2024, we will be hosting "KANAZAWA Week," an event that connects digital nomads with Kanazawa!
The aim of "KANAZAWA Week" is to connect digital nomads active nationwide and globally with the community interested in "Kanazawa," the home base of Linnas Design, and to create opportunities for diverse future engagements with the region. There will be various content throughout the week, so please feel free to join!
①"Snack GLOCAL" × Kanazawa (Essayist Massi)
At the “Glocal Talk Session,” we will welcome Massimiliano Sgai, an Italian writer and essayist with a connection to Kanazawa, as a guest speaker. He will share his experiences and discuss the charms of life in Kanazawa.🎙✨
We will also provide light snacks and appetizers reminiscent of Kanazawa, with drinks available. Enjoy casual interactions with fellow participants 🙌
Even if you are not from Kanazawa, feel free to join if you are interested in life in Kanazawa or consider it your "second hometown." Kanazawa enthusiasts, come together!
